Wichita Transit Talks

The Wichita Transit Talks community outreach process was developed to support Wichita Transit’s need to educate the community about the agency and transit. Input was gathered about transit needs and support was garnered for future transit improvements. Vireo lead the community outreach process, including targeted stakeholder meetings to better understand the community’s perspective on transit convenience, cost effectiveness, coverage, and performance. Social networking, an on-going virtual town hall meeting, and a series of open houses were designed to build project awareness and increase conversation in the community. Vireo developed a program brand to support the entire project.
