Lafayette County Connectivity Plan

Vireo was commissioned to develop master plans for pedestrian and bicycle facility improvements in Higginsville and Lexington, Missouri. The plans took into account area destinations and the condition of current pedestrian access. Routes were then prioritized with the help of local focus groups for future improvements. Routes incorporated current and future Safe Routes to School projects and highlighted opportunities for regional trail connections. An initial implementation step included Crystal Lake Park in Lexington.
