3-Trails Retracement Corridor Plan

The 3-Trails National Historic Trail traces through what is today 17 local municipalities. Because of this, the Mid-America Regional Council teamed with Vireo to provide outreach and design assistance to the National Park Service. Joint discussions with local municipalities touched by this national historic trail led to the development of a continuous alignment and a regionally-approved approach to its commemoration.
