Badlands Cedar Pass Housing

Vireo was part of a team that assisted the National Park Service with master planning the Badlands Cedar Pass Housing, a site for future employee housing. The team performed detailed site inventory & analysis studies of the sensitive landscape ecology, resulting in various alternatives for the siting the future facilities. Equally important was the visual assessment done to evaluate the potential siting of the housing so that it would least impact the views of the dramatic layered rock formations, steep canyons, and towering spires.
