Platte Landing Ecosystem Restoration

Vireo designed a riverfront park to restore over 60 acres of Missouri River floodplain habitat. The City and County cosponsored the project, which became the cornerstone for the larger restoration of Parkville Bottoms tract. Vireo developed an an existing conditions assessment, restoration alternatives, feasibility study, and environmental assessment.
During the Phase 1 of the 130-acre park, Vireo completed design and construction documents for recreational features, including a boat ramp, entry road, dog park, trails, wetland mitigation, and parking.
