The Crossroads Arts District has seen a resurgence of new development and commercial revitalization over the past decade, and the historic McQueeny Lock building presented a prime opportunity for redevelopment. Vireo was tasked with creating an attractive site design for the 100-year-old building, a courtyard space between the renovated building and an adjacent warehouse, and a rooftop oasis furnished with planters, seating, and a fire table.
