The Cloisters on the Platte is a retreat facility like no other. Visitors have the opportunity to explore more than 200 acres of tranquil natural beauty, ornate gardens, and trails for reflection and contemplation. Facilities include a main retreat center, an ornate chapel, seven lodges with 10 bedrooms each, and a stunning Stations of the Cross sculpture walk, featuring the work of nationally-renowned artists. Vireo’s role involved master planning and large-scale site design of lakes and water features, nature trails, courtyards and all landscape features.
